Our activities

Activities organised, supported, or promoted by the PTI include:

Schools Programme. A network of state school departments who subscribe to the ethos of the PTI and who wish to enrich their subject provision.  Departments can choose to join following attendance by the Head of Department at a Summer School.

The Summer School. A three-day residential event for teachers in state schools.

One day courses. The PTI helps members of the Schools Programme to organise one day professional development events for teachers based on a topic of interest to them. 

Heads' Conferences.  The PTI organises an annual conference for Headteachers to discuss aspects of What Works In Schools.
