The Prince's Teaching Institute Alpine Challenge 2010
A team of eight trekkers have completed a physically challenging week-long journey through the Swiss and French Alps to raise money for the PTI. They reached the summit of Grand Combin on Saturday August 7th. Ben Iversen, who led the expedition, gives us a day by day account of the team's progress. - 25 May, 2010
What Works in Schools Conference Report Published
The PTI held a Head's Conference in January 2010, on how a balance can be struck between the academic rigour demanded by Higher Education, employers and teachers on the one hand, and on the other the need to provide a curriculum that is accessible to pupils of all abilities. Seventy-three departments from 51 schools have been awarded the Prince’s Teaching Institute’s first Schools Programme Mark – an award launched by HRH The Prince of Wales on 23 November. The 73 school departments recognised are the first to be awarded the Mark. - 23 November, 2009
