    The Prince's Teaching Institute Modern Foreign Languages Summer School
    Bernice McCabe, Co-Director of The Prince's Teaching Institute, launched the PTI's first Modern Foreign Languages Summer School at Homerton College, Cambridge today.

    The PTI To Create Leadership Programme For Secondary School Heads
    Delegates at a seminar for head teachers organised by The Prince’s Teaching Institute (PTI) welcomed the proposal of a PTI Schools Leadership Programme for secondary school heads in England, mirroring the successful PTI Schools Programme which has reinvigorated so many school departments across England.

    In response to teacher demand, Modern Foreign Languages has been added to the list of subjects offered by The Prince’s Teaching Institute (PTI), and will be the focus of this year’s Summer School at Homerton College, Cambridge, 27 – 29 June 2011.

    Review of the National Curriculum in England
    Bernice McCabe, Co-Director of the Prince’s Teaching Institute (PTI), and Sir Michael Wilshaw, Trustee of the PTI, have accepted the Department for Education’s invitation to become members of the advisory committee that will assist the Department for Education in its review of the National Curriculum announced today (20 January).

    The PTI's first Residential Conference for Headteachers
    The Prince’s Teaching Institute (PTI) held its first residential seminar for head teachers at Madingley Hall, Cambridge, this week (17 – 18 January). This follows three one-day seminars on ‘what works in schools’ arranged for heads in 2008, 2009 and 2010 and is in response to heads’ enthusiasm for a longer session.

    Media coverage of The Prince’s Teaching Institute from the 2010 Autumn Term
    Media coverage for the autumn term of 2010 focussed on the PTI’s Schools Programme. 194 departments in 126 schools in England now have the Schools Programme Mark, an achievement that was celebrated at a reception hosted by HRH The Prince of Wales at Clarence House in December.

    Several keen volunteers and PTI members of staff ran the Royal Parks Half Marathon on the 10th October and have raised over £4,000.
