East Norfolk Sixth Form College
There are currently 570 students taking A and AS Level English Literature and English Language, and 200 students taking level 2 English courses.
One of last year's PTI objectives was to ensure an effective start to the new AS level courses and 300 students passed successfully. We also achieved 10 Advanced Extension English successes, including 5 Distinctions for Gifted and Talented English students.
English Department staff have prepared for teaching the International Baccalaureate by attending training in Barcelona, Berlin and in London on The Prince’s Teaching Institute one-day courses.
We are continuing and expanding our programme of links with Universities, particularly Cambridge, UEA and London this year, in order to inspire our students to apply to study English and related subjects in a wide range of Higher Education institutions.
East Norfolk Sixth Form College is a vibrant and highly successful open-access sixth form college of 1,800 students, sited on the Norfolk coast, south of Great Yarmouth.
