Picture of Primary delegate at 2007 Summer SchoolA one-day course was offered on Monday 2 July 2007 from 09.30 to 18.30. Primary delegates were invited to remain for dinner and Monday’s after dinner talk.
 
The theme of the course is an exploration of ways in which literature can contribute to the understanding and enjoyment of History. 
 
The programme consisted of a combination of sessions with Primary speakers, discussion groups led by experienced Primary teachers, and joint sessions with delegates from secondary schools, including the keynote address by Professor Baroness Susan Greenfield.
