English and History
This year's English and History Residential Event took place at Crewe Hall, Cheshire from Friday 7th November to Monday 10th November 2008.
We were delighted to welcome the following speakers to Crewe:

- Professor Lisa Jardine CBE (Queen Mary, University of London)
- Professor Helen Cooper (University of Cambridge)
- Dr Mark Llewellyn (University of Liverpool)
- Dr Max Jones (University of Manchester)
English Delegates also participated in a drama workshop run by the Royal Shakepeare company, whilst the History delegates visited two local attractions:
- St Deiniol’s Library, the UK’s finest residential library
