2010 English, History and Geography Summer School
The Prince's Teaching Institute held a joint English, History and Geography Summer School at Homerton College, Cambridge from Monday 28th June to Wednesday 30th June.
The course consisted of lectures and workshops by eminent speakers and academics including, Sir Tom Stoppard, Michael Wood and members of the University of Cambridge English, History and Geography departments. The English course included a drama workshop run by the Royal Shakespeare Company and the Geography course a visit to the British Antarctic Survey.
The Rt Hon Michael Gove MP, Secretary of State for Education addressed the Summer School on Tuesday 29th June.
