2010 - Maths and Science

2010 Maths and Science Residential

Crewe HallIn the autumn of 2010, The Prince's Teaching Institute will be holding a joint Science and Mathematics residential at Crewe Hall, Cheshire from Saturday 6th to Monday 8th November.

The course will consist of lectures and workshops by eminent speakers and academics. Prior year speakers have included Adam Hart-Davis, Prof John Barrow and Jonathon Porritt. Further speakers and a provisional programme of events will be announced shortly.

This event is open to Heads of Department (or their nominated representative who have curriculum responsibilty) from state secondary schools who have not previously attended a Prince's Teaching Institute Summer School.

This event will also act as an induction in the Prince's Teaching Institute Schools Programme, and so departments wishing to join this membership scheme are requested to send a representative to this event. In order to facilitate this, we will be asking delegates to complete a short review of their department's current subject provision in advance of the event.

There is a non-refundable booking fee for this event of £95, to cover the cost of last minute cancellations that we have experienced in previous years.
