2015 Headteachers' Residential
26th - 27th January 2015, Madingley Hall, University of Cambridge.
Vision to Reality:
How do the best Headteachers create a whole school vision and make it count?
As in previous years this Headteachers' Residential is an opportunity for Heads to come together to listen to best practice, share their experiences and have their thoughts challenged by examples of practice in other schools.
The conference will consider how to:
- Develop a whole school culture
- Lead teaching and learning
- Choose effective leadership strategies for different situations
At the heart of the conference is our commitment to providing participants with an opportunity to think about how they would like to develop aspects of their own school and to discuss these ideas in a one-to-one mentoring session with another Headteacher.
Attendance at this annual conference entitles a Headteacher to join the PTI Schools Leadership Programme. This Programme allows participants to continue their work on the themes explored at the Residential in their school throughout the year, before returning to outline their progress with their cohort. The PTI have found that this Programme brings Headteachers into contact with an effective network of schools from across the country to continue to share ideas and strategies.
Please note that if you have attended a PTI Headteachers' Residential previously, and are a member of the PTI School Leadership Programme, you do not need to attend this event.
